• Wire Rope Hoist Model EW7 requires less horsepower for the same speed (compared to worm gear models) due to improved efficiency from helical gearing
• Totally enclosed oil bath lubricated helical gearing -- No open reductions
• Large diameter plain cable drums available for multiple layer long lift requirements.
• Large diameter grooved fabricated steel cable drums available for single layer long lifts. Grooving patterns to meet your application needs.
• Single or multiple wire ropes leading from a plain or grooved cable drum.
• Hoist Model EW7 Units include one (1) load holding disc type electric motor brake sized to provide a 200% minimum amount of braking torque.
